Destiny we’re all fine here! lol definitely don’t be standing on that tractor anymore, it doesn’t sound like anything good can come from that! lol We might have to consider adding that to the next Weekend Safety Briefing we post on the Face Book page! (CEH)

I can't do anything right now anyways, I cut my butt and thigh and got it all bioglued falling off a tractor. So I didn't really tell my recruiter I hurt my knee again too - just kind of told him I can't run because of the cut. I will probably tell him tomorrow though - I need to get a paper from them anyways. Plus strep for the 3rd time..

Army BOSS!
Future Soldiers, GOOD MORNING! Today on the Future Soldier Center Facebook Page we are talking about the BOSS program (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers)! Boss is a program that single Soldiers can participate in to enhance their Quality of Life, contribute to their community through Community Service activities, and assist in the planning and execution of their own Recreation and Leisure events. Activities are planned by the BOSS council working in conjunction with the MWR Advisor and CSM. These events are geared towards the desires of the Single Soldiers on that installation. Be sure to visit the MWR and see what sort of events your post’s BOSS program has planned, and join us at the FSC Facebook page to learn more about what BOSS has to offer you!

Destiny, that’s a bummer! Do what you can without injuring yourself! Have you and your Doctor or Recruiter talked about maybe trying to hit up a bike or maybe swimming for a bit instead?! lol and I’ll let KP know to get on the decorating! (CEH)

Future Soldiers, keep in mind that THERE ARE NEW CHAT HOURS! The Future Soldier Chat Room will be open Monday-Friday from 2000-2200 EST! It is at www.futuresoldiers.com, and you use your AKO user name and password to log in! It is a great way to meet other Future Soldiers that you may be in training with and to learn more about your MOS! Financial Preparation before BCT!
Future Soldiers, all pay in the Army is done by Direct Deposit! Before you ship for training, be sure that you have a Checking Account open at your bank of choice, and have turned in your SF1199A Direct Deposit Form for that account in to your Recruiter to be placed in your ship packet! This is a task on your Basic Training Task List, and is crucial to ensuring that your in-processing at Reception goes smoothly! Get with your Recruiter if this has not been completed yet or if you have any questions about this, and be sure to visit the Future Soldier Center Face Book Page to learn more about financial planning before you ship! Reception!
Future Soldiers, Reception will be a busy time! You’ll be going through clothing issue, finance, DEERS enrollment for dependents, dental and eye exams, and many other administrative tasks to get you processed into the Army! Stay focused though, because before you know it Reception will be over and you’ll be starting our career as a Soldier in BCT!
